Solar Desalination Geo-assisted Continuous

SDGC stands for Solar Desalination Geoassisted Continuous. It refers to a solar-powered system designed for continuous desalination of seawater or brackish water to produce fresh water.

SDGC uses solar energy as its primary power source, making it an eco-friendly and sustainable solution for freshwater production. The “geoassisted” part means it can also harness geothermal heat or underground temperature gradients to improve efficiency. It’s especially useful in remote or off-grid coastal areas.

SDGC Project - Industrial Research and Development

Italian Patent No: 0001429306

With this proposal, we offer the opportunity to initiate the development of a series of SDGC desalination plants. These plants are designed to separate salts of various origins and produce distilled water, suitably conditioned for future uses (not included in this offer).

The plants, known for their flexibility, will be capable of receiving multiple algorithms to manage the two main outputs: distilled water and salt concentrates. They will preserve energy volumes while maintaining high performance and will heavily utilize renewable energy sources.

Applications include the remediation of marine and brackish waters and various industrial processes in the food, agronomic, chemical, mechanical, and emerging hydrogen sectors. The project also plans to customize these plants based on the size and needs of the interested companies.

Business Plan

Business Plan

Project: SDGC - Solar Desalination Geo-assisted Continuous

Objective: To initiate an assembly and testing site (procedures and manuals) for the production of SDGC tanks of various sizes and functions, meant for the remediation of water bodies or for water production for food purposes.

Target: Prefabricated and container companies, hydromechanics, financial investors, freshwater operators, and wastewater treatment operators.

The project aims to activate a production site, covering everything from design to assembly for delivery and quick setup. It will focus on fine-tuning procedures according to the client’s agreed production needs (based on available inputs) and the destinations for the produced outputs.

Report Purpose

The main purpose of this report is to present the patented Solar Desalination Geoassisted Continuous (SDGC) process, analyze it, and compare it with current technologies, aiming to evaluate its technical and economic competitiveness.

Over the years, the demand for freshwater has continued to grow at a much faster pace than the capacity to use naturally available freshwater resources. It’s become necessary to find new ways to increase freshwater availability in different areas.

Although desalination is typically a complex, energy-heavy, and costly process, it remains the most practical method for freshwater production. That’s because saltwater is an inexhaustible, globally abundant resource — with 93% of the water on the planet being salty.
